This page explains what you are charged and when, how to stop it, and when you are entitled to a refund. It forms part of the Terms of Service and is written to comply with the E-Commerce Law and the Consumer Protection rules of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
How billing works
StudyAI has one paid plan: a monthly subscription at SAR 59 per month. Each payment covers one month of access and allowances.
Launch offer (limited time): an eligible new subscriber pays SAR 39 per month for the first 3 monthly cycles, then the standard SAR 59 per month automatically. The standard price is shown before checkout and we email a reminder before it applies. We may end the offer for new subscribers at any time; anyone who subscribed under it keeps their remaining launch-price cycles, then moves to the standard price.
A new account starts on the free entry: a one-time, usage-capped allowance with no card and no time limit. It does not renew and nothing is ever charged for it.
Payments are processed by Tap Payments (mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Tabby and Tamara). StudyAI never sees or stores your card details.
Auto-renewal
Card and Apple Pay payments renew automatically each month on your saved card. Tabby and Tamara payments are one-time: they do not auto-renew, and you renew by paying again from Settings before your month ends.
You can stop auto-renewal at any time from Settings → Subscription. There is no cancellation fee, and you do not have to contact support to do it.
Cancellation
Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not cut your access off straight away: you keep using StudyAI until the end of the month you have already paid for, and the app shows you that date.
Cancelling does not automatically refund the current paid period. Subscription fees are non-refundable once the service has been accessed, used or benefited from, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights under the laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are set out below.
Seven-day right of withdrawal (Article 13 of the E-Commerce Law)
If you subscribe and have not used or benefited from the paid features, you may withdraw from the subscription within seven days of the payment date and receive a refund of what you paid. Use begins with any paid feature: preparing a chapter, creating a summary or a test, asking questions about explanations, or drawing on any paid monthly allowance.
This right applies subject to the exceptions set by law, including where performance of the service began at your request during the withdrawal period or where the service has already been provided. Withdrawing from a paid subscription does not affect the free entry allowance.
Delayed performance (Article 14 of the E-Commerce Law)
Paid features are activated as soon as the payment is confirmed. If they are not activated within fifteen days of a confirmed payment, or the paid service cannot be provided during the paid period for a reason attributable to us, you may cancel the subscription and receive a refund of the amount paid for the affected period, together with any further rights the law grants in that case.
Billing errors and unauthorised charges
A full refund is issued, once the facts are confirmed, for duplicate charges, charges made after a valid cancellation, charges that differ from the amount shown to you before payment, unauthorised charges, and any other case in which the law requires a refund.
How to request a refund and how it is paid
Send your request from the email address on your account to the contact address below, stating the payment date and amount; we reply within five business days. A refund that is due is returned through Tap Payments to the same payment method that was charged, and may take five to fourteen business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.
Access to the paid features ends when the refund is issued. A refunded launch-offer month ends the launch price for your account; any later subscription is charged at the prices in force at that time.
If a payment fails
When a renewal payment fails, your access continues for a short grace period and we email you. Pay again with any accepted method from Settings to keep your history uninterrupted. If no payment arrives, the paid features stop and your account returns to the free entry.
If the price changes
The end of a launch offer, or any other price change, applies from your next renewal only. It never changes a month you have already paid for, and we tell you before it applies.
Your data after stopping
Stopping ends the paid allowances. It does not delete your account, your courses, your question banks or your progress — those stay until you delete them or ask us to delete the account.
Your statutory rights
Nothing above affects the mandatory rights you have under the E-Commerce Law, the Consumer Protection rules and the other laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which cannot be waived.
